How to let users know there is a topic for them to read and post

Is there a way to send the users of a group an automatic email that there are new posts to review, or new comments on existing posts to review?

Hi Dan , thanks for your question! Users receive automatically email notifications when there are new posts in categories and topics they are following.

Optionally, you can set a category to be automatically followed by new users. You'll find this setting in Admin > Categories > Category Settings > Notifications. This setting only applies to new users who join, but contact us to have us retroactively apply it to all users for you.

By default, users will receive notifications of new topics in the category, but this setting can be changed to include new replies as well. Contact us to have that set as the default for your account.

Forumbee Support I have a similar request - need to be able to notify forum users, even if they are not following a specific category, of a post (or just notify them in general.) Can you please apply this to all users for my account as well? Also, will there be a way in the future to send a message to all users or a specific group?

      Thanks!

Hi  sue , unfortunately there is not a way to send a message to all forum users outside of the regular category topic notifications. If you have a category that is set to auto-follow and post a new topic there, then users will receive a notification of that topic. If you need a category to be configured as auto-follow for all users, we can configure that for your account. Send a request to support@forumbee.com with the category name. Thank you!

Thank you for your information.  I do not see a tab or setting titled "Admin" or "Administration".  There are tabs on the left hand side of the page and tabs across the top (depending on what tab you are in on the left) and none of them say Admin.

Hi Dan , if you are in your community, you can access the Admin area by clicking the Cog icon at the top of the page. Depending on your community theme this is usually in the upper left or upper right corner of the page.
