Using AI with forumbee

Does forumbee have any plans or work-in-progress in terms of allowing clients to use their knowledge base as the controlled context for an AI front-end, allowing users to write inquiries and get curated responses?

If no plans to build this facility within forumbee, have you investigated integrating other AI platforms with forumbee? Can you share any findings, recommendations, watch-outs?

    Hi  , yes we are working on solutions that will be available natively in the platform, as well as integrations with third party AI platforms. We are in testing now and will share updates with you as soon as we have them!

       Ok we are now 10 months from when you were "in testing" with AI. There are now various AI-based tools that claim to substantially enhance the user experience of navigating documentation. Can forumbee please provide some detail around what and when AI will be available?

      We’re still exploring the best ways to bring AI into Forumbee to make it easier for people to find and interact with content, while keeping everything secure and under your control.

      Right now, some customers are using Forumbee’s outgoing webhooks to connect with their own AI agent workflows or external tools. That approach is usually more helpful for community automations, but it might offer some room to experiment depending on your setup.

    Can you categorically state that you are still working on AI tools in forumbee? If so, what is the expected timeline that you can share (2026 delivery Q2 for instance?). Or have you decided to shelve any AI integration work for the foreseeable future? Knowing which it is would be useful information for our 2026 development plans.

    Yes, we are still actively working on AI capabilities. Our current focus is on enhancing search to be more semantically aware, and using AI to help find related and relevant content across the knowledge base and community.

    We can’t commit to a delivery date at this time, but this work is ongoing and a priority for us.
