SSO and user profile updates: how to direct users to their SSO account page?
The token based SSO developer documentation mentions the situation where a user might update their profile in Forumbee and later receive updated information from the SSO provider: https://community.forumbee.com/t/18hwg9/sso-single-sign-on-developer-documentation-token-based-sso#user-account-creation-and-updates
But what about communities that wholly rely on SSO for all members all the time? In those cases, updating the profile page within Forumbee could lead to confusion, because the updated profile would not be reflected in other systems.
Is there an option to make the "Edit profile" (e.g., https://community.forumbee.com/settings/profile) readonly or send users to the profile editing page on the SSO provider instead?

Hi ,
Thanks for your question! Yes, both options are available:
- Set "Edit Profile" to be read-only
- Send user to the profile editing page on the SSO provider when they select "Edit Profile"
This can be configured during your community setup.
