AI Functionality and Timeline
I know I keep asking and I know you keep saying you will post an update when you have one....but the AI world is moving very fast and our client support tools need to catch up soon.
If I presume that your AI capabilities will be fantastic when they are launched, can you either A) tell us when they will be launched or B) tell us concretely WHEN you will be able to tell us more.
Many thanks in advance!

Hi Tim , thanks for your patience and for continuing to push on this. It genuinely helps us prioritize.
The two items we are working on right now:
New API platform providing enhanced access for programmatic and agentic workflows including OpenAPI and MCP modules. This will allow community administrators to connect Forumbee to AI agents and automate workflows around content creation and community management.
New enhanced search with AI / semantic language support, to make finding answers and content across the knowledge base and community significantly smarter.
These are rolling out in Q3 and Q4 respectively. We hope this gives you a clearer picture of what we are working on and in what order. We will post updates as things progress.
Thanks again for staying engaged on this.

Any update on this?

We just started Q4. Excited to see the AI functionality. Still on track?

We would also like to have an update on the timeline and an expected rollout.

Hi ,
I wanted to share an update directly, as I know several of you have been waiting for news on this. I appreciate your continued interest and patience.
Our original Q3/Q4 timelines have shifted. As development has progressed, we've taken a more comprehensive approach to the underlying platform work. Rather than building an API around a limited set of capabilities, we're evolving Forumbee into a fully API-driven platform, where functionality can be accessed and managed through APIs, MCP, and AI agents. This will open up much broader possibilities for integrations, automation, and AI-powered workflows.
We believe this is the right foundation for the future, but it's taking longer than originally anticipated.
We're now targeting Q1 2027 for the initial rollout of our expanded API and MCP capabilities, along with AI-enhanced search. This work remains a priority for us, and development is actively progressing. I'm sorry for the delay, and we'll share a more specific release timeline as we get closer.
Early access is also part of our rollout plans, and we look forward to getting feedback from customers who have expressed interest.
Thank you again for your patience and continued engagement. We'll continue sharing progress updates here as we move toward rollout.
