Choice to not zip a file on upload

I have 10 larger files I want to host as attachments.

They are about 50Mb each. I don't want them to be zipped on the way up because I want them to load directly in a browser by visitors.

Currently visitors have to save to something like dropbox to then open the zip and then open the tiff.

Also …. just an FYI … the zip is actually bigger than the tiff! LOL.

  • Hi Robert , a file is zipped if the filetype isn't on the safe list in the system. For example, filetypes such as PSD, JPG, PDF or PPT are not zipped because they are on the safe list. Are you uploading TIFF files? If so, we can have that filetype added to the safe list in an upcoming release so that they won't be zipped.

Also, keep in mind there is a 50Mb max limit for individual file attachments.

    Thank you!
