Adding CSS

I understand that you can edit existing CSS; however, how to you add CSS? Specifically, how to do you CSS elements that comprise and entire portion of the page like a custom footer or header?

I've read that depending on the the plan staff will help in this endeavor but I already have a full CSS footer that I would like to add.

Thank you in advance...

Hi  Bar Owner , it is possible to add in footer HTML (see this article), and your HTML code can include CSS class attributes on the elements. Enter your CSS class style definitions in Admin > Themes > Custom tab > CSS (see this screenshot).

Forumbee , thank you for the reply. I follow what you're instructing; however, I still don't see how to "add" CSS elements. For example, a footer could have multiple CSS elements like pixel sizing and other formatting that would typically be called from a CSS document.

The way I understand your editor to work is my new entry essentially supersedes a specific portion of your default CSS but what "code" or "entry" do I make to add raw CSS code that creates a completely new footer, for example?

I tried adding the CSS that I have and while the HTML was picked up and promulgated, the HTML did not have any CSS formatting - basically, it's like the CSS is not being called...
