Embedding Polls

Is there someway to embed a poll question in a new discussion? Or is there a poll feature available on Forumbee somewhere?

Hi Anna, thanks for your question! We are planning to offer a polling feature in the future. For now, if you have created a poll in another system you can embed it in a topic. We'll follow up directly to assist you with this.

Hi Forumbee Team. Do you have some recommendations on poll tools to embed?

Hi Carola , thanks for posting in the community! We have used Survey Gizmo and Poll Daddy, but there are probably other good polling tools available as well.

Also interested in a polling feature. Our company would like customers to vote of new features for our products.

Please do post a timeline if you have one at this point.

Hi Joni , thanks for checking on this. There isn't a polling feature available at this time. If you are using a third party survey tool such as Typeform, you can link to a survey from your community. Most survey tools also support the option to pass user data from the community in hidden fields. If you need help with passing user data into your survey, contact support@forumbee.com and we can assist you. Thank you!

Forumbee Support Thanks for the reply. Is a polling feature still in your product timeline? I think what's confusing is that in the Idea section of a forum, the description mentions voting.

Hi Joni , thanks for pointing that out! 🙂 Sorry that was a source of confusion! In the Ideas section, voting refers to the vote option for each idea. Members can express their support for an Idea by voting for it. You can see who voted and sort ideas by most popular.

For polling, it is not in our immediate roadmap but it is still being tracked as a future enhancement. I hope that helps. Thank you!

I was able to embed a free poll using https://www.pollforall.com/.

    Use the source code button:

Then paste the embed code from Poll For All.
