Allowing users to opt into groups
Hi all, we are a software company and would like to designate a special group of our Forumbee users as 'Beta Testers' and give them access to a private group in Forumbee. Looking for suggestions on how to allow individuals to 'opt in' to the Beta group without me having to manually add or invite them. Suggestions?

Hi Jeff , thanks for your question. One option would be to set an access code on the private group. Anyone who has the access code can enter it and gain access to the group.
Go to Admin > Categories and select the category. Under Access select Access code and give it a code. Then click Save. You would then distribute this code to users who need to have access to the category. When a user enters the code they are automatically added to the permission list for that category.
