Moderation of specific users?
Hi, is there a way in Forumbee to moderate a specific user or users?
For when we need to be selective with a specific person(s) who may be abusing the forum, yet we are not ready to block them altogether.
Thanks!

Hi Betty Mills , thanks for writing in! You can enable moderation for your community, which sends new posts by any member to the moderation queue for review. Unfortunately, there isn't an option to turn this on for only specific users.

We would also love this feature. Something like "muting" in Facebook Groups.

We badly need to moderate individuals.
Moderating the community creates too much work. Banning an individual can have disruptive consequence. Sometimes some individuals need to have their posts screened before allowing them to go through.
"Muting" them for a set time (as a sort of time out) would another solution but I would consider that separately than moderation.

Hi Betty Mills , Debbie , CraigS , we've released an update that includes an expanded set of moderation options that have incorporated your suggestions. New features include the ability to:
- Moderate individual members
- Mute members for a time period or indefinitely
- Require the first N posts of any member to be moderated
- Set a user to a trusted status so they are not moderated
Let us know if you have any feedback. Thanks very much for your input!
