How to Create an Unlisted Category

An unlisted category is a category that is excluded from category navigation and search results. This feature can be useful in the following scenarios:

• When you want to link to a category in other ways, such as from an article or a custom button, and do not want the category to appear in the main category navigation.
• When you have a set of legacy articles that you don't want to include in search results or navigation, but still want to make publicly accessible through a direct link.

To set this option for a category, go to Admin > Categories and select the category. Under More Options, check "Do not display in the category list" and click Save.

It's important to note that with this option, the category is still accessible based on its permission settings, but it will not be included in the category listing or navigation.
