Article publishing improvements: save drafts and more

Article forums are used for knowledgebase articles, FAQs, news, and announcements. We are introducing 3 new features to enhance your Article posting workflow. 

You can access these features when you create and edit Articles from within the Moderate area.

Save Draft

You can now create and save Articles in draft mode. Draft Articles can be viewed and edited by Moderators and Admins, but are not visible to members. Drafts appear within the context of the actual forum for those who have sufficient rights, making it easy to preview exactly as they will appear once published.

For example, if you are preparing for a new product release, you can queue up a set of articles in advance and post to the forum in draft mode. Other team members can review the drafts. You can continue to edit and save changes to article drafts. When you are ready to publish, just click the Publish button.

Custom Article URL

You can now create descriptive article URLs which are human-friendly and SEO-optimized.

Publish Date

Article publish dates are now editable.
