Embed videos
Enrich your posts with engaging video content by embedding videos directly into your posts and articles. Forumbee supports video embeds from popular platforms including YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, Vidyard, and Loom. This keeps your audience on your site and makes it easier to share tutorials, demos, and walkthroughs.
Forumbee supports two kinds of video placement:
Primary Videos
Primary videos are embedded at the top of your post or article, under the title.
- Click the Video icon in the post editor.

- Paste the share link from your chosen platform.

- Click OK.
Your video will be embedded at the top of the post or article.
Inline Videos
Inline videos are embedded within the content of your post. This is useful when you want to include screencasts or video examples as part of step-by-step instructions.
YouTube, Vimeo and Wistia
Click the link icon in the editor toolbar, paste the video link into to the popup, and click OK. The video will appear below. You can delete the link text later if desired.

Loom
Paste the Loom share link directly into your post content where you want the video embedded. Save or publish your post, and the Loom video will embed automatically.
Note: If you view the post in Admin > Moderate, you may see the raw video link instead of the embedded video. To confirm the embed, click View topic in community.
Troubleshooting
If you see the message "Sorry, this video link was not recognized," check the following:
- Make sure the video platform is supported for the type of embed you are trying to use.
- Make sure you are using the provider's share link.
- For Wistia, make sure you are using the video's Media page link, not a folder link.
- For Loom, paste the link directly into the body of the post rather than into the primary video field.
