Move replies and split topics now available

Moving replies or splitting topics is useful for managing replies to a topic that are unrelated to the current conversation. Moderators and Category Moderators can now access two new options for replies:
 

• Move replies to a new topic (split topic): This option creates a new topic with the selected replies. The reply author becomes the author of the new topic. If multiple replies are selected, they are carried over as replies to the new topic.
   
• Move replies to existing topic: This option moves the replies into the topic you select, and the reply authors are set to follow the destination topic.
   

How to Move Replies

To move one reply select "Move" from the Cog menu next to the reply:

To move multiple replies at once, click the "check" icon at the top of the reply list, select the replies, then click "Move."

Select the Move option and follow the steps to move to a New Topic or an Existing Topic:
