New features: Welcome Email, Search Metrics API

Welcome Email

When new members join your community, you can now configure a friendly email to be automatically sent to welcome them into the community. To enable this option, go to Admin > Settings > Welcome email. You can edit the content of the message, and add links and images.

 

Search Metrics API

A new search metrics API is now available. (Enterprise only) It provides a report of all searches conducted, and you can use this to analyze top searched terms and understand the search success rate for your community. You can also discover searches returning no results, which may be an indication of areas that need additional content added. If you are an Enterprise client and would like to access this API please contact us.

    I'm looking for API solutions to Search on my community. Are there APIs available that may be used for searching the Knowledge base or posts in my community? As we do have a search option right on the home page of every community, I'm assuming there will be an API for this as well.

      Raghav Mishra Hi Raghav, yes there is an API endpoint to return search results for articles and posts in your community. Your success manager has followed up with you to provide assistance. Thank you!
